Hello,
Here are some photos with this lens on A7.
This lens is ridiculously heavy and big compared to its optical caracteristics (it's about 3kg, and big as a MTO-1000 including the hood). The lenses themselfs are not big, but the body does 3/4 of the weight and size. It is because it was made for big TV camera, so size and weight was certainly not in their priority when they concepted it.
The diaphragm ring is so smooth that it slides from f16 to f3.5 with a little one finger push.
TV camera that used this lens had a 4 lenses turret, and all diaphragms were coupled together.
All shots are wide open
And a photo of the lens compared to the "big" Tair-3
More infos and photos are visible on my page about this lens. _________________ Pierre
