Thank you. I was wondering more about the sparrows, finches and crows.
This is how close I have gotten. Maybe I just smell "tourist". Wink
Yours are much closer.

Great lens and photographer. How did they manage to get rid of chromatic aberration if they did not use special glass?

I'm mostly shooting at f8, there are still some visible longitidinal chromatic aberrations, but nothing too bad.
