Just won one on ebay. Looking forward to seeing if it is as good as reputed

I saw one what is went cheaply I would try to snipe on it to get for your or Seymore , because that wasn't only cheap it was with a Nikon mount and for USA only. I put low amount on it so I lost Sad This is one of the most valuable 135mm f2.8 lens good as Nikkor or an Olympus, perhaps better. I look forward your experience ...

I have a Tair 11-2 at home, one of the sharpest lenses I own. But it's part a 0-series, so I don't know if the quality is representative. Looking forward to see some results.

Pin sharp - the best 135 I've bought, ever. A bit clunky looking, but looks aren't everything, just ask Quasimodo.

I paid about 12ukp for mine, iirc.

Taken last week during a brief lull in the bad weather:

Mounted on the E300. I now have the 40D, but no chance yet to use it. That should really show it one way or another. So far I am really impressed with this lens, I love its colour saturation (accurate) and it is sharp.

Richard's pictures largely confirm what I am finding - thanks for posting those Richard. In my case it is competing with the nikkor 135/2.8 and 2.0, Viv Ser1 135/2.8CF, Jupiter. More than holds its own as far as I can tell.
