Can I use it with my EOS?
Does it require an adapter like the Adaptall-2 system?

Both yes , you can use it with adapter. Adapter very cheap. Available for M42, Nikon etc.

Can I, or must I?
I mean, are there T2 to EOS adapters or do I have to buy an intermediate such as T2 to M42 ?

Hello,

I think T2 mount (screw mount - M42x0.75mm) lens can be mounted on almost any type of body because its registered distance (mount/film):
55 mm ( http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/mounts.htm )
For the EOS it lock like that (click on the images): http://f64.ro/det.php?id=255&pid=2878
and ebay:

I have a T2, Orio and I use it with my 350D without any other intermediary adapter, so use it with confidence.
Mine was around 10 bucks, chinese.

good news.
If it's only 10 bucks (7-8 euros) I may buy one anyway, just in case I happen to find an interesting lens.
