Thanks
I'm glad that this one was saved. I am really happy with the surrealist mood, it looks totally surrealistic.
Like if he's blown the head of the mannequin away.
The panther emerging from the dark reminds me of the Mandrake comics
There is something very Mandrakesque to the whole image (and that is thanks to black and white, colour would have failed)
Black magic.
I'm very happy.
I titled it survivor because it's about the only one pose that succeeded.
But then I found the title "survivor" somehow fits the content of the image too, in a way that I can not explain, but it fits. _________________ Orio, Administrator

Excellent shot! He melted the head right off that mannequin, could use
this in an anti-smoking advert.
Great stopped action, remember what shutter speed? |

yes!
I like this about photography, it sometimes puts together two different pieces of the world and the elements combined create something new.
It can happen by purpose (posed photos), but I find it more exciting when it happens by chance, or by casual find.
This type of photo "combinations" show that we should never stop asking for more from our photos. Sometimes we all can be lazy and I put myself at the head of the lazy squad. But really, it pays to insist trying to scratch the surface.
And B&W really helps with that. And film helps, too. _________________ Orio, Administrator

Nicely done. Great for effect.
Pity about the others on the roll, as I'm sure there would have been a few keepers there. _________________ Dave - Moderator

Quite surreal indeed. I like this type of photography because it's one of the fields in which I'm bad. Fortunately I can still enjoy pictures made by others...
And your experience is exactly why I never develop my own rolls. It's a great feeling when it goes well, but the deception is enormous when things go wrong... _________________ Peter - Moderator
