Too many streets where I live. I could go for more roads and paths.

I lived in town for 47 years, now 4 in the countryside. Recommend highly the latter!

Yeah, I wish! The wife likes her job too much, though, and we just bought a house that's not too far from her job. Having written all that, though, despite its size, Houston lies right in the middle of "country." From where I live, I can be out in the sticks in about 20 minutes. Or at the beach in an hour.

But it's not the same as living out in the country, I'll admit. I've lived in small towns and I've always liked the atmosphere.

As you can see, if I head out northwest, I can be in the country pretty quickly. But I'm just visiting when I'm out there, and it's just not the same as coming home to a place out there.

Pretty decent street shot of our house, actually. Even shows my BMW motorcycle parked next to my Volvo.

Nice house.

No street shot here but you can see our greenhouses if you zoom in.
