After checking the site Peter referred to (below), I saw there were 3 - 20mm lenses listed. I don't necessarily need "fast", just sharp. Although that MIR47N looks nice. Cool

I would like your feedback on these, please...

MC Mir-20M 20mm f/3.5 (M42?)
Arsat 2.8/20 (Mir 73N)
MC Mir 47N 2,5/20

Of if you have any other affordable suggestions in the 18-20mm (non-FE) range, for Nikon.

I am afraid this is not an affordable range. I have experience with Mir-20 I don't like it. I have exp. also with Vivitar 19mm ,not bad not good same than Mir-20. With both lenses you can see pictures in mflenses.com/gallery.How about Nikkor 20mm UD or any other 20mm Nikkor ? You can get them bit more than 200 USD and they are really good lenses.

The Vivitar 19mm can sometimes be found cheaply (Not used it) the various Nikkor 20mm's normally sell for around the same as the current AF Nikkor which I shamefully confess I use Embarassed

I'm also looking for a 20mm (or wider). I used to have a Vivitar 19mm F3.8 in my film days but I was unimpressed by it so at the moment I'm thinking that I'll probably end up with a 20mm Flektogon although it looks like it could end up being ?100 or so for one.

Yes, you need luck a lot to buy a Flektogon under 100 GBP, as usual a selling them around 100-200 GBP. I have currently a 20mm f4 Flek if anybody want it.

I noticed that one in your Ebay shop - I'm tempted but I'd probably get my "balls soundly booted" by SWMBO if I spent much more on lenses at the moment (other than the odd ?0.99 bargain here and there)!
