Double-Gauss based retrofocus wide-angle. Focus down to 0.2 meters. List price $149.50 in 1960.

Photos converted from RAW to JPG with resize and minimal sharpen use the standard camera profile.

Rare seen lens , looks very good to me, I like each frames, last elephant statue is very realistic.

Not many of these lens sold in the past because of high price. Most of Steinheil lenses sold to US and they are not common in the East Europe and Asia. Steinheil lenses have very balance color rendering which make them excellent performer in cloudy days.
