Very nice photos! Is the orange filter the cause of the increased contrast?

Thank you all for the kind words. The orange filter will have some effect on the contrast but the main cause is the very bright sunlight and slight under exposure which has crushed the blacks slightly. The main purpose the orange filter serves is darkening of blue, helping to keep the sky from going a pale grey.

Two other shots from the film which i hadn't scanned when these were posted.
