Sources for unusal filter rings?

I've recently added a Industar-69 to my collection & have been unable to find any affordable stepping rings for its 22.5mm filter thread. Neither E-bay or Amazon appear to have any & even google only managed to find a 22.5-25.5 step up (from a company that have been slow to respond when asked for prices previously).

The location of the aperture control (a thin ring on the front face immediately outside the ting front element) makes any DIY solutions I've used previously impractical...

Has anyone found any good sources of non standard stepping rings? With the industars & enlarger lenses I'm getting quite a few lenses with threads no-one seems to stock!

Yes, it's one of the pages that first got me looking for stepping rings before my lens even arrived. They don't seem to be available in either 22.5x0.5 or 22x0.5 sizes the two referred to in the discussion...

If SRB haven't got, they can make it. Excellent company.

I've found something that works nicely for my smaller lenses - The old Handcross hood/filter system.
It simply clips onto then lens & fits anything between 15mm & 38mm od.

Examples of it can be seen at http://cameracollector.proboards.com/thread/8799/handcross-hood-planiscope-close. I think I'll get a second one to modify for screw in filters Smile

Something similar for lenses upto ~55mm could solve nearly all my issues with oddball lenses - certainly the enlarger lenses which seem to delight in having non standard threads!
