Looking for an archived copy in DMG for MacOS of Sony Imaging Edge Edit Ver 1.0.01.12080 which is part of their camera software suite.

This version (and earlier copies) featured two additional sub-controls for the D-RO panel; which have since been redacted. I have this copy for windows as installed but no longer for the iMac.

If anyone can navigate the Sony web and locate older releases I would much appreciate any feedback.

Regards

Would also like to know if there is another RAW editor with the same capabilities for MacOS or Windows.

I can't attest to the specific feature(s) in your mention of the SONY software,
but RawTherapee and darktable are extremely competent and feature-rich freeware RAW editing programs
which may suit your desires.

My Google-Fu was unable to find your preferred software.

Here is the description of the capability from Sony's online documentation per the newest release. The additional adjustments for highlight and shadow have been removed. I believe it was around the release of the A7r iv.

Until the deprecation of those user level controls, it had been helpful in recovering skin tones on fast projection lenses that can blow out the highlights.

Search around for the controls "Highlight" & "Shadow" to find where those controls have moved within menus.
