After the first published shots ( http://forum.mflenses.com/playing-around-with-the-volna-3-indoors-t9072.html ), indoors, now I'd like to show some outdoor shots.
We have visited my parents today and these shots were taken in their garden.

EOS 350D, Volna-3, ISO200 (in order to get faster shutter speeds and still rather clean pics). 100% crops not sharpened, the others only slightly sharpened after resizing.

100& crop

What about narrow DoF?

100% crop

And finally, a portrait...

Are those bees attracted to Volna lenses just like they are to Zeiss ?

This all gets very mysterious !

Well, these flies know a lot about optics. Anytime they see a really good lens approach, they sit still and do not move. Laughing

Where is the best place to buy this lens?

The pictures from Volna lenses have saturated look and feeling.

Congrats, Carsten!
The pictures are really sharp and well focused...
BTW, which focusing means are you using?.
Split focus screen, maybe?

Regards,
Jes.

Jes, I only use my eyes (I am very lucky to have an eyesight performance of 120%) and a Nikon DK-21M magnifying eyepiece on my EOS 350D.
It fits well to the cam.

At Orio's. Wink But I have already bought his copy. Very Happy
Honestly, if you get the chance to buy a lens from Orio, you will not regret it. I have bought three lenses from him and those three lenses are among the best lenses I have.

You might find this lens on *Bay as well, of course you never know who is selling...

Hey Carsten, give it back to Orio Evil or Very Mad , so he can sell it to me. It supposed to come with his Pentacon 6, which is now mine. Twisted Evil Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil
Kidding Wink Great photos.

What adapter are you using? Looks like I am going to have a few P6 lenses so I have to look for P6 -> EOS adapter.

Those are some great shots with beautiful colors, Carsten! Cool So they
obviously make a Pentacon 6>EOS adapter, nice!

I'm happy that you like the Volna, Carsten. Lovely portrait in the last picture. The Volna renders great skin tones.

I use a P6-M42 and added to that an M42-EOS-adapter, works fine!
