I have only taken a handful of shots with this lense. I just don't have time in the summer to enjoy myself. All the shots that I have taken with this and the flek have been test/practice shots.

This shot of Maxwell was taken as it came dark with flash. Forgive the background, it was just a fun shot to use the lense.

I found black point and white point in curves and nothing else. It didn't actually even need that. No sharpening other than in camera default.

f/ 5.6
1/200
ISO 400

It looks very good!

I was wondering if only ML 24/2.8 and ML 28/2.8 were a "must have", but it seems there are other gems made by Yashica.

I have the 135/2.8 and it is very decent too.

I agree with Attila, Maxwell is a wonderful dog with any lens
Now the colors are perfect (last time it was a little too blue)

All great: the dog, the photographer, the lens and the photos.

Nice, Ron! Looks like maybe that's a dog in the picture, or a dog-shaped
object, keep up the good work! Wink Laughing

(Don't tell Maxwell what I said, he'll be pissed.)

Maxwell looks like a pretty cool character. Nice shots. Those ML lenses are all so very underrated. This kind of post is going to spring the cat from the bag. Wink

Anyone see the Pun? Embarassed Laughing

Thanks everybody. Maxwell and I appreciate all the nice comments. And thanks Andy for putting me onto this lense. I still can't believe I got it for less than $20.00.

For now, I only have the flek 2.4/35mm and this yashica. I really enjoy both of them.

Sorry I didn't get back sooner but I had a difficult afternoon. A life long friend stopped by. I didn't even recognize him. The first words he said were" I just stopped to say goodbye, I'm dying of cancer ". He looked like a little old, old man. Really makes you think how lucky we are to have our health.

Ron, my condolences, it is really tough, especially someone you knew for
a long time. I found out a couple days ago a buddy of mine, fellow corpsman, haven't seen in close to 10 years, didn't make it back from Afghanistan.

Take care, Ron.
