I don't have the scheme, but I have had taken it apart. IIRC it has four elements in front of aperture, deeper two sit on spacers and it is real easy to mess up the correct order they need to go in and if you do it totally messes up the image. Fortunately there're just a few possible combos, and you should be able to find the right one within an hour. |

I reassembled a Tamron 90 incorrectly after laying out the elements in order, the right way up, all cleaned and ready to reassemble. I got up from my chair to go the toilet, tripped over the chair leg and stumbled into the table and some of the lenses got flipped over.
I just put them back as best my memory told me, and it was obviously wrong. So I spent about 3 hours taking it apart - putting it back together - with one lens at a time turned over. Each time there was an improvement I left that lens element as it was and moved on to the next, eventually I got it right. _________________ LENSES & CAMERAS FOR SALE.....

I gave it another look - I have a second copy with a case of fungus I can't get around to fix. So, there're two groups in front. First you can remove by removing name ring and unscrewing it with a spanner. The second group sits under it and it is flush with a cup it is mounted in. There're two rings. Outer holds the group, and you'll need a good spanner with narrow blades to get it started - but if it was disassembled before it is likely will not present a problem. It is this inner group that gets oily, or moldy, and it would be my first suspect. I'll try to get into the back of the lens tomorrow and post an update.
Update: rear group can also be a problem, but you should be able to see if it has been disassembled before - there's some thread locker there and if it's in the original state you won't be able to remove/open it without solvent. |
