Hello,

Could someone tell me please, this lens in what kind of mount was produced:
http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=180169253266&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=008
The seller told that it has a thread that measures about 40mm across. Is it M42 ? Is it T/T2 or something else ?
Thank you very much.

The only thing that I can tell you is that the mount has an attacheable part with a screw, that totally looks like the mount of TAIR-11, that you can remove and attach in the version you want (M39 or M42).

If this is a common feature of T2 mounts, I don't know. I certainly see this rarely on M42 lenses, only on a couple of Russian ones (of which one is the Tair).

I agree with Orio. Looks like a T2 mount with M39 or M42 adapter.

Same as on my Jupiter-11A, now it has a T2 to EOS adapter on it Wink

Yep, looks like it.

These T2 mount were not that rare. Quite a few Japanese lenses also used that and esp. companies like Soligor, Tamron etc. who produced not only lenses for one cam.
And you find many no-name lenses with this mount, since then they also can be adjusted to fit to many cams.

You still can buy lots of those mount/adapters: https://secure.soligor.com/index.php?id=157&L=1
