Ok , I was invited by a friend to take some casual shots of his wedding after the ceremony , but then it turns out I was the photographer apparently as they didnt get one and all the family members had just P&S

, luckily it was a low key back garden deal with a non-denomenational justice of the peace , phew!

but........All I had brought was my super Tak 50mm f1.4, which i think is the best lens I own so I figured what the heck, Ill do the best I can

here are some of the wedding shots taken by a noob with a K-X and a 50 f1.4

I believe most of the bokeh shots are f 2 or 2.8 and the rest were f4 or f5.6

Bride and baby

the cake with the wedding party in the background ( this one is a bit blown out but I like it still)

flower girl

waiting for her cake

the best part was, towards the end, people kept saying " hey watch out you are in the way of the photographer" when I was lining stuff up Smile

I didnt post any of the bride and groom as i dont have their permission yet
Ill post some later perhaps

Goodnight

The cake and Flower girl shots are very good. Maybe you could reduce the red color in #1 in PP.

The last one is a nice candid, only the big male hand distracts a bit.

SMC Tak is fast and sharp. I used it in a friend's wedding, too.

Nice images-you've captured an anxious moment there in the second image.
