I have recently acquired a SMC Takumar 50/1.4. Having no time to waste, I immediately started to disassemble it before fungus gets a chance to spread all over my feet.

Seriously though, I have a question about lens groups and elements and which of those can be disassembled (err... and how). So far I have isolated one element from the front group, and one element from the rear group. I also think that I have just incorrectly used terms group and element.

I guess I need a spanner wrench to continue with the work... Is that right and is there a risk of making things worse? What I'm trying to ask is how hard and dangerous is this part?

I tried to search for help on the net, but nothing came up. So if anyone could please help me... Thanks a lot!
