Hello guys,
I recently got myself the Sigma 24mm F2.8 Super Wide II and also got an adapter for it to be used on my sony nex camera. However it can't focus to infinity- it usually focuses to 10 meters and that's it. I wanted to ask is it possible to open the lens and remove the (if there is one) the screw preventing the focus ring of turning more or is there anything i could do to adjust that?
Thanks in advance guys.

Does the focusing scale on the camera only turn to the 10 meter mark? Or will the lens focus mount turn to infinity, but you cannot get a sharp image further away than 10 meters?

If it's the first, then the lens needs a repair (which I regret I can't advise on) but if it's the second, then it's the adapter that's almost certainly to blame Crying or Very sad

Thanks for the quick answer,
sorry I did not explain that better- the lens is in a very good condition and it turns to infinity mark without problems but I can see that the sharp part of the image is just like 10 meters ahead of me. After I posted this I also came to conclusion that it is probably the adapter but it looks like there is nothing i can do to fix this so I will look for new adapter . This one was cheap one- 15$ or so. The problem is that all of them are supposed to let you focus to infinity and on ebay they all look exactly the same so I don't know which one to get.
Thanks again.

Seems you've been unlucky - most of the adapters let the lens focus "past" infinity. I've bought several un-branded low-price adapters and the quality is indeed variable. Try looking for a brand name that turns up in a number of vendors' website, or else take a deep breath and buy one of the high quality ones. Metabones seems to have a good reputation.

And return the one you have - ask for a refund !
