I guess this is the correct (new) forum for this type of camera...Anyhow, here's a few flower/plants photos I took with my little camera:

Here's a couple more shots with my wee little A560:

The first shot is of some fake flowers, and the 2nd shot is of my Maine-Coon cat, Rudy.

Nice ones, Dann! Like the first two flower pics (1st set) and the last, the
Maine Coon, best cat breed there is, IMO. Smile

I like the out-of-focus effect on that last shot - ! And the film-like "grain". Great stuff, keep them coming.

Thanks! I actually like that shot myself. The focus is just alittle off, but what made it "work" was the 1/2 of a second hand-held shot with a high ISO. That photo has a good "mood" to it for a simple shot. The orange glow at the bottom of that pole was a street-light, out of frame.

Do think this would be a better P&S over the G9 or G10? Trying to replace my P&S...

No, the G9 and/or G10 has my little A550 beat by a mile. But it does go to show what a little, old, cheap digital camera CAN do.

ah, thanks. trying to decide on what is a convenient P&S but with a good IQ...
