O.k, here I see why Pentax SMC lens have a good reputation. Nice shot, sharp like a razorblade.


Pic taken in Raw, developed with Pentax foto laboratory to 16 bit tiff. Then changed to lab colours ...

Helios 40-2 wide open. Light from a 40W bulb. For me this is THE lens.
Cropped from landscape format and slight usm after resizing.

No. I own a Zenit 19 and I checked different sources. The Zenit 19 has m42 mount. So I think there is an adapter between cam and lens.

M42 and M39 for SLR camera has same register distance , it allow infinity on Canon. M39 range finder that is Leica screw usable only for close-focus works.
