This camera has my interest for some time now.... mostly because i collect Minolta stuff and that includes the clones. As you might know this one is a Minolta SR clone and has the SR mount. The lens is actually a Chinese copy of the Biotar 58mm f/2.0.

Somehow i cannot get my hands on one of these, they keep on slipping through my fingers at ebay! (maybe i'm just bad with the bidding system....one even got away for 11 USD...)

So if you have one, or if you know one for sale which is in a nice condition, please let me know!
It seems they've been sold in some countries more than others, so maybe you can pick one up locally and sell it to me, i'd be very happy!
I'm okay with a defective body as it will only be for display purposes, but the lens should be in a proper usefull condition.

It's also possible to trade if you like, take a look at my list here: http://forum.mflenses.com/cutting-down-my-lens-collection-t76425.html

Thank you!!
René.

There is presently a Haiou-64 for sale on an Austrian market place:

Most probably the price will be negotiable.
Please advise if assistance needed.

You're welcome.

What's the right body for that lens? I've seen some DF-300.

The DF-300 is a Minolta X-300 clone, which has been sold under many other brandnames as well, like Centon, Soligor, Vivitar etc.

This Haio lens was sold in the sixties with a Minolta SR clone, see here: http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Seagull_DF

Cheers, René!

Here's the lens, it arrived yesterday. It's not as good as the advertiser promised it to be, but i'm happy anyway.

On a sidenote: i had installed "Seagull" as a followed search on ebay, guess what? A DF-1 with the modern version (all black) of the Haiou-64 popped up in my mailbox with a very acceptable BIN price, it's on it's way to me!
