I recently found two Schneider Kreuznach Xenon lenses, a 28 mm f/2 and a 35 mm f/2 one in an industrial type mount (without focusing mechanism) however none of the typical Schneider mounts known to me.
At least the 35 mm one has been shown here before (http://forum.mflenses.com/schneider-kreuznach-xenon-35mm-f2-t82589.html) with some nice looking images, but that lens is most likely - judging from the infamous ninja-star 5-bladed Schneider aperture - identical with the one Robert OToole has shown and documented in great detail in one of his reviews:

The ones I've got don't have the same body but an even slightly smaller one with round shapes:
Because of Robert's information that he found some of those lenses mounted to a Dalsa line-scan camera, I suspect that they might be industrial lenses in origin. It's not clear if they share their optics with some of the Cine-Xenons, but from my observations so far they certainly have a similarly smooth rendering, which I appreciate a lot. Of course coverage is limited, but I'm sure there's a lot of possible applications within the range I usually go for.
Here are some sample shots:

Of course they're also pretty good when used reversed for real macro shooting:

I'm wondering if anyone here has found any additional documentation on these lenses or has an idea what they might have been used for, apart from the line-scan applications we know of! Does anyone here (I think Klaus has confirmed to have both focal lengths, possibly more?) have some experience with those Xenons? _________________ ---
