I'm 100% sure that it's the Volna-3, I have the lens, it looks identical to the one in the picture except the numbers on my copy are yellow not green (a typical variance in many Russian lenses) _________________ Orio, Administrator

wild speculation: Is there a chance that the Volna-3 80mm is a Carl Biometar 80mm clone?
Erez |
The chance exists, considering that the Russian have copied practically the whole Carl Zeiss Jena catalog of lenses.
I have both lenses, in my opinion the Biometar is slightly sharper wide open, but it's only a minor difference. _________________ Orio, Administrator
