Picked up this lens at a good price but it's the version with the 45 degree click stops on the tripod mount, the mount on mine rotates freely and I can hear the ball bearings floating about in there but can't find anyway of getting inside to repair it, don't know if it's even possible.

Thanks, it's one I hadn't come across but unfortunately doesn't show how to strip the tripod mount.
