My very first experience in self-developing of a colour-film!
Yesterday, I visited a "ghost-town" not to far from here. Inhabitants nearly all have moved, because their village has to go for the coal mining.

PS: How do you remove the dust before scanning????

Well I always used something like this:
http://www.amazon.de/Kaiser-Fototechnik-6316-Blasebalg-Reinigungspinsel/dp/B000L9OC4K
Although it's primarily designed to work for lenses it does a good job for film and slides as well. Wink
At least I didn't find any better alternative up to now.

Klaus,

You can remove dust from the negative with the same "dustware" to remove the sensor dust minus the liquid part. If the dust is sort of glued to the negative surface, only with a 2 washing with photoflo will remove these, I guess. Not forgeting the dust over the scanner's glass.
Dust is a hell to deal with, a book can be wrote about the subject,

HTH,

Renato

If it's the dust that shows in your pictures , probably the best method , in my oppinion is to use a scanner with ICE2 dust removal system .
I didn't bought such a scanner for money reasons , and I regret now. I am correcting this post scanning by manual healing in Helicon Filter .
