Marry each other : mount your Rokkor lenses to your EOS body as natural as it can be !

If I have understood correctly, after the installation of the flange, you can only mount either Minolta manual focus lenses, or other lenses that can use a minolta adapter.
This means no more lenses with EOS EF mount nor (especially) lenses that use EOS adapters such as Contax, Leica etc...

That is quite a price to pay to mount the Minolta lenses... one should buy a Digital EOS only for this purpose.

The guy who invented this is Italian. I wrote to him asking about the compatibility issue.

You have got it right Orio.

There are detailed technical pages on compatibility issues :

Thanks for the links!
I am interesting in Minolta lenses. After the digital Minolta stoped I think the classic Minolta lens will be more available in acceptable price.
After the Rokkor 58mm, I'd like to have a wide lens or a 85mm.

That is interesting! Thanks.

If I had several really good Minolta lenses, I would consider to buy a used EOS 300D and hack it.
