It's maybe one of the most common and cheapest 200mm lens you could find. You could get it for around 15 euro. I think it was made by Tomioka. It is somewhat soft when wide open. And there is also some CA. Anyway it still serves me quite well due to its light weight, and reasonable sharpness at f5.6 and f8.

Yes, I concur. I prefer the color tone of this lens to my pentacon 4/200. And it is lighter than pentacon. Maybe people would find the image quality deterioates significantly at edge part on a full frame camera. Then it is not problem for APS format DSLR.

Good samples - as already commented - the results are much better than one would expect.
