I didn't want to mess woodrim's latest thread on the subject,
so i made a new one....

Tokyo Kogaku RE, Auto-Topcor 2,8/100 #7508191 (cleaned and lubed)

Used with an Edixa 14mm extension tube. Mostly wide open, from 100 to 400 ISO.
Some exposures and/or focus may not be perfect...

I realy like them RE Auto-Topcor's...

Very nice pictures by a great lens. This is my favorite from the Re Auto Topcors. Always gives me great colors and an amazing sharpness. Very interesting to see the results with the extension ring !
Here are a few of my photos taken with this lens.

Awesome shots with the 100, too many to get, so little money to pay for them all... Sigh. Laughing

Beautiful series again, I had 100mm navy edition what made for US Navy with lock button at infinity, salt water fingerprint was visible on front. What I impressed me and basically I found true on all what I did try contrast is better a lot than most lenses from same years, Carl Zeiss level.

I've been following the Topcor threads on this site for a ling time now and I'm really impressed.
They seem to be hard to find and very expensive Sad

You should be able to get a RE, Auto-Topcor 2,8/135 for not very much $
or a RE, Auto-Topcor 2,8/35 for a reasonnable amount...

And they're both very good, i especially like the 35mm...

Others are scarce.... and/or expensive .... but worth the effort imo...

could the original poster please post a pic of the lens itself? thanks
And yes, when you do find hard to find things they are usually expensive.

I wouldn't use these for a sale but they'll show you the lens.

It's been completely overhauled and the mount as been changed to an M42 mount.
With it's dedicated hood...
