This is one lens I keep forgetting to look for and have a question. What is
the minimum focusing distance of this lens?

I think it's 24cm. Though this is just going off of a tech sheet I found, I don't actually have the lens to confirm that.

and that's measured from the film plane/sensor. Volna-9 goes to 1:2 without an extra extension tube, i.e. a target area of 44 mm x 29 mm will cover a 350D sensor, 72 mm x 48 mm will cover an FF.

36mm x 24mm.

Not quite because aspect ratio is 4/3, not 3/2 Razz

This is a very nice lens and compares well with other close focus lenses in the range. I think there have been several posts on it.
