Some impressions from a big local quarry.
Pentax K-r & SMC Pentax M 2/28@F8, single row pano stitched from 7 vertical shots, converted to greyscale using Silver Efex.
Some details, captured with Pentax K-r & Leica Elmarit-R 2.8/180@F5.6, converted to greyscale using Silver Efex.
The excavator is the same as shown in the left side of the pano.
This gives you an impression how big this "hole in the rocks" is.
