Is anybody know why this purple flair comes on this picture. It is taken by Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm f/3 by one of our Hungarian forum member.

If you Google with Purple fringing you might get some answers.

Has to to do with crhomatic aberation.

This is the best explanation I know of:

This is a combination of flare + chromatic aberration.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get rid of even in Photoshop. This because the CA filters look for neat borders. The flare acts on the CA like the flat side of a knife on the butter.

Processing can remove the CA, but not the glow caused by such a strong flare, unfortunately.
The best advice to give is to always shoot with the hood on. This will minimize the flare. It will do nothing for the CA, but once isolated from the flare influence, the CA will be much easier to remove in Photoshop.

Instead of the "normal" chromatic aberration, it more probably is blooming near positions of strong overexposure, see http://www.dpreview.com/learn/?/Glossary/Digital_Imaging/Blooming_01.htm, perhaps in combination with microlens level chromatic aberration, see "purple fringing" at the end of
