First is untouched fro the scanner, second has been sharpened, noise reduction and adjustment of brightness and contrast and shadow/highlight levels.

Handheld with some shake. The contrast increase is jarring, because the flare has not been reduced.

It's not flare, the film was slightly fogged along one edge.

For me you've been a bit heavy handed with the contrast. Somewhere between the original and the edit would work better for me.
