Hi guys,
Last I shoot on Portra 400 nc. Grab some Nikkors and CZJ glasses and went to old almost unused factory for fibres with one lovely girl. Found some places and start to burn frames. There were beautiful exteriors and interiors, too. For sure that I'll be back there soon for next captures =)
Then dev and scan at lab.
Had with me also P6 and some Ektachrome in but it will be developed this week only.

Nikkor 50/2 ai @2

Biometar 80/2.8 @2.8

Nikkor 24/2.8 ais @~4

Nikkor 50/2 ai @~2.8

Nikkor 24/2.8 ais @2.8

Nikkor 50/2 ai @2

Cheers

Spleenone, excellent and enjoyable series! You get an A+ for subject matter,
the girl, not the factory. I'm still waiting for the lovely model/abandoned
abattoir series form somebody in Europe, but still no comers. Laughing

1,3, 4, and last are my faves, but they are all very nice! Portra is great film,
well done! Cool

That sounds like a Goth/Film Noir concept. It could be good fun with a bucket or two of tomato ketchup.

Actually, I like the factory too Shocked . Large windows, large walls to diffuse, they made for some terrific lighting.
Reg. the Portra, the colours are just beautiful. Look at #1 #4 #5. I still have to see a digital camera that does those colours.

The girl is beautiful. And you made some beautiful photos of her. But I would drop #2 from her portfolio: it does not make her justice - better not seen.

Thanks a lot and I accept your advice.

It was very good experience coz I still have to learn how to work with model and she is really not pro or model at all. She's is only friend but I think that there is some pros and cons if we are talking about shoting with skilled and not such skill persons. I mean also at side of photographer. There is always something like movement. Best is enjoy that process of to bettering self of moving next. To be something like pro ...or why? I want to be still such enthusiastic and researching guy. Hope it will persist for some time =)

Really nice series, Splee.
I am glad to have seen some Portra 400 results. I already much like Portra vc160.
That Biometar has bokeh very similar to vthat of my Takumar 55/2. Your Nikkor lenses treat your work very well.
And I must agree with Orio on No. 2: well-exposed but it makes your model look heavier through the shoulders than she is in your other shots ...
