Well done Paul! Excellent presentation. Chosen title makes this image qualities "grow on me" -- it grows quite a bit! Very Happy

I like this alot the title and image, but what is the little brown thing in the top left corner...would the image still work with that cropped out?

PostPosted: Fri Jun 22, 2012 9:27 am    Post subject: Reply with quote

Very artistic image, you have a good eyes......
may be you could remove the "thing" (don't see waht it is!) on the top left corner Idea

thank you.

the "thing" is a gingerbread man dog toy. crop? i don't know ... Shocked

You could clone it out -- this image has a very strong graphical design to it, yet without becoming abstract: you still feel all the detail of reality. I like that orange light in the shadow.

A very striking image, well spotted. As an experiment I would try cropping it to put the bottle in the "thirds" position, with the top point of the light triangle just inside the frame edge. I don't know if this would improve the image, but it is worth a try.

no crop, just simply clone it, like this:

if you don't like it, I will remove it of course....

This has a lot of very nice things going for it ! The leading lines (shadows) Triangles ( cone of light and shadow regions) contrast of the bright color to the rest of the frame. Like Jussi said , It's graphic without being abstract !

Nice light and idea, still it doesn't make the trick for me, i prefer much more your b&w images.

I like it better in color. The orange spot draws attention and gives "movement", adding depth to the composition, IMHO.

this image has strong lines, I like the colors on the bottle but somehow I don't like the red hue on the floor ( maybe just my monitor? ) anyway that made me curious to play with it, fish I hope you don't mind

not at all kuaan. and thank you.
i don't see any red in the floor in my color copy, but your floor's lighter hue may be closer to real than what auto color in photo shop did for me. i am a bit red/green color blind ...

Beautiful lead-in on the title, and like others have said, it's a nice graphical image without being over the top.
Fine work!
