... my Polar is one of my 35mm lenses that got closer to the performance of the Elmarit in some points? (not always)

You probably wouldn't - and neither would I if someone else wrote that.

Yet, this is what I saw in my today's quick roundup of 35mm lenses.
(and please note that I have Flektogon, Distagon, Yashica, Nikkor and two different Mirs)

No I won't post test images for the moment. I want to make a real test - and different from the usual tests.

P.S. I paid for the Polar the insane sum of 8 Euros.

So Orio, if you bought two of these lenses would you be considered

I guess that any person on a sound mind that would enter this house for the first time and see my lenses arsenal, will think that I must be nuts regardless of the number of Polars. Wink

Well, looking forward to the tests of this lens that almost equals the
Elmarit! For eight youre-ohs, too.....

What is the focal length, fstop of this lens?
