... it's just that sometimes, I forget what kind of mind-blowing device this lens is.
Only sometimes Wink

Wide open (f/2), hand-held, shot at 1/80 shutter time (thus slower than focal lenght), 1600 ISO:

Did I say it's wide open? Very Happy
Unfortunately, using this lens wide open gives this horribly busy bokeh! Laughing

P.S. not to mention that obnoxious wide open CA ! Laughing

Anyway, it looks like very very sharp and with perfect colours rendition but that's what we should expected with such amazing (and expensive!) lens I guess Very Happy .....

I agree! We should expect that, from a 350 Euros lens (that's what I paid for it, a few years ago... today value is more than doubled).

The problem is in those lenses by some AF makers that cost 3-4-5 times as much and are not even able to get close to this performance wide open Wink

(This is against my wallet, nevertheless I will write it...)

You have no excuse Orio!
And that's because I am sure you have shot very interesting images with this lens.
Now, go find them!!

P.S. Where have you bought your hand ? Laughing

Congratulations. Very exciting photos!
#9 is my favorite. It makes you feel you are in the middle of the stage.

Very difficult conditions indeed.
I assume 1/100 sec at iso 3200 ?
And the focus is perfect in all of them...
Do you ever use a monopod?

But no, no, no. I do not need this lens.
I have the 2/100 MP. I can always crop away 10MP.
The remaining 11MP are enough. Aren't they? Rolling Eyes
