The front element appears pixellated or blocky in parts, along with that shadowy area on the bottom right unlike the rest of the image.

Something's not right.

I think it's just heavy jpeg compression.

That's what I though first, but what about the other parts of the lens (as also Bob has pointed at)?

If this seller manipulated this image just for remove fungus on picture I wish to him never earn more many than this lens price Smile
