That is well done Klaus.
Your model was a good choice for this lens.

Cool flare for a start followed by even cooler bokeh. Seems a great lens, i'd probably use it black and white.

It's funny but I was thinking the same.

You really caught him well kds. Nice job. The skin tones remind me of Portra.

I actually really like the color. The yellow and purple go well together. Really great great compositions. Excellent portraiture. I especially like #2.

Thank you guys, appreciate you comments!

The blooming Wisterias with their fresh yellowish greens and shooting against the sun
quite helped to get those intense color contrasts - and that lens also helps quite a bit!

Here one against a bloomimg huge lilac shrub...

Here against a pink European redbud tree...

The technique exhibited here almost overwhelms the presentation of lens examples, except for the fact the lens seems well-suited to the particular task.

Klaus,

You could consider taking up portraiture.

Lovely stuff.

I let him know, will certainly give him a good laugh! He was in China recently, invited by a famous chinese film producer to visit the Tian Shan mountains.

This is him in his studio here in Weinheim, I just was there a few moments ago...

A very suggestive confluence of colours! And a very good colour rendition by the lens.

But let me point out, that it is easy to make an interesting shot from someone, looking so interesting! Wink

It's hard to be German Klaus, I know, we always have to find the negative in any good and we have to say it, right?
It it so ingrained in us, we don't even know what we do, when we do it. No wonder I will leave this country in a while
to leave such negative vibes behind me ....

*** because of a recent, now deleted disrespectful comment ***

I will delete any disrespectful comments about the subject and my shooting here, my friend.
Be respectful please and talk about the portraits and / or the used lens only - or move on.
Thank you.
