Recently acquired a Petri Flex 7 in great shape. The only issue is that it appears to be jammed. I've taken the bottom plate off and see the main cam shaft assembly that runs the entire width of the camera. While this is uncommon to me, it is apparently a feature of the Petri slrs.
I've read that if the film advance lever will not move that there is a possibility that there is too much tension on the main spring on the cam shaft. In revieing the shaft spring, it does not appear to have too much tension, maybe too little if anything.
Can anyone offer some insight to what logical steps should be taken moving forward. I would love to get this camera functioning as it is in excellent cosmetic condition.
Thanks in advance
