Pentax k to contax yashica bayonet conversion

I would like to buy a cheap pk lenses and adapt it to a contax yashica body. there are some online sources for the opposite conversion, many also state the two bayos are pretty similar, somebody even seems to have dremel-ed a c/y bayo into a pk (anybody confirming??).

I would like to know if somebody knows some info about this. I have noticed that the hardest part when converting (I was adapting a fuji lens to cy) is that the bayonet screws of different mounting systems are often at a significantly different distance from the center of the lens.

So the donor bayonet might result as too narrow to drill the new holes.

This is my main concern I have no pk lens at hand now to make measurements so i'm in doubt.
