Just run across this very interesting conversion of any K mount or a Pentax 'M' lens to work, like M42 and 'A' lenses do, in aperture priority mode ( Av for Pentax )

it's in german however, see:

What a nice try, my motorik would make an opticjam with the lens - this is only for finemachaniacs like clockmaker or goldblacksmith.

I 'm still trying to work out how a Tamrom Adaptal KA mount turns old 1970's Tamron adaptall lenses into semi auto ones with electric contact and full aperture read out and control
As for the link I couldn't understand the pictures and have no chance with the writting!!! Confused Question

For understanding the drawings ( Masse = ground ) german language I'd think is not needed.
If there is genuine interest I may find time to translate the text into english. ( I guess I should ask the author first, yes? )

there however it says:
'Wer nicht die Möglichkeit hat in seiner Werkstatt auf mind. zehntel Millimeter genau zu arbeiten, sollte von derartigen Arbeiten Abstand nehmen'
which roughly translates to: who does not have the facility to work at a minimal precision of a 10th of a millimeter should not venture into these kind of works.

cheers,
Andreas
