Hello from new forum member from Finland.

I just got Olympus e-pl1 very cheaply and I would like to have something faster than my old Tokina 28 mm/2.8 and above seems to be quite compact and much cheaper than Samyang 25 mm.

Does anybody know where I could find that lens in Europe? Every one seems to be purchasing it from B&H photo from USA but I would really avoid the customs if possible.

Read both of these links before you decide to buy one.

The later link is major reason for thinking to purchase one. Quality is ok for the price. I just would like to get it from Europe.

B&H is selling it for 119 USD:

There is one seller on US Ebay selling them for $80 OBO, but US only. Might be worth asking them if they will ship to the UK.

Yes. I will probably do that. I think that 170 USD+vat is too much for that lens, same for Fujinon lenses.

Have you checked into the Pentax C32500KP. It's a 2/3" instead of a 1" but you can get good deals on them sometime. One just sold on US Ebay for $26. I was planing on bidding on it but missed the end of the auction.
I'm not sure if they have been tested on m4/3, or not.

Yes, I think that I will start to bid on these. I am in no great hurry (just ordered Samyang 14 mm and have a Chinese noname 25 mm/1.2 and Tokina 28 mm/2.8+several others in Pentax mount).

The Chinese one is for 1/2" image circle but it is quite usable (at least at photographing beer bottle labels). 35 mm/1.7 costs only 25 USD so will probably get it too.

Problem with USA is shipping costs. For example B&H wants 50 USD for delivery of that lens.

The ones for 2/3" are not good - they are ok if you use 6:6 aspect ratio only. On normal 4:3 you see the image circle.
