Hallo!
Today, this lens come to me.
I am surprised, why 29mm.
The lens is like the Pentacon 50mm and has also a button to close the aperture by hand.
The aperture consists of 6 Blades. This copy is like new, very soft and fit.
The electric contacts aren´t needless, i don´t know, which cam need this contacts.
Now, it is raining, but if the weather is better, then I will try it outside.

1/30 sec - f8,0
The first impress is very good, yes, this is a very good lens.
Costs: 19,5€ incl. shipping

greetings Peter

To my knowledge that lens is the old Meyer Orestegon 29/2.8 modified with auto settings and the new Pentacon name on it.

I'll be interested to see a few outdoor samples ... there is one on my bidding list (auction ending in 2 days) and I'd like to know what it is worth.

A am in the startpostion, but the rain in austria is massiv, a dog-weather - we said in Austria, many clouds and so dark.

Meyer-Görlitz - yes - the basis of Pentacon, always in the shadow of Carl Zeiss but also good, I like this german line too.

regards Peter

Yes, It's an old meyer gorlitz. With the pentacon name is the same schame (7 elements in 6 groups). Fine MC - rich colors in the pictures-. You have, and good for you, a good copy and that no common. Misaligned lens and diaphragm problems were a constant in the Meyer Quality control, specially at the end of the '70 and in the '80's. Fine focal for everyday shoots, no?
You're right, the pentacon's no were the same of CZJ lenses, but Ilike them too. The MC is the same in part of the linea of pentacon's (29, 50, 135 mm lenses) classical blue/magent, not in CZJ - the MC of them were yellowish in some and blueish in others copies of the same lens, as the pancolar 50 mm F1,8.
Good pictures with the pentacon.
