Hallo!
Another 50mm Lens with good performance.
Fullsize Picture:

This lens is good for pentax, there is a button to close the aperture, so i don´t fixed the stick.
There are 6 blades, the aperture is also good.
I payed for this lens 14€.
The glas is good, the mechanic is used, there is a space, often, I can´t get maximum sharpness.
Another fullsize Picture:

Now, I am searching for a better one.

The flowers are made with f1,8, I see in the right upper corner unsharpness, I dont know, why. Is the M42 adapterring not exactly parallel with the sensor, I see this effekt by the m42-lenses
This building is a kind of chaotic art, the owner is a steal and wood messi.
It´s a lot of fun to take a pic from this place.

I hope, this examples can show you the pentacon 50/1,8 on Pentax K100d super, a good, cheap lens, but nor so good like the tessar.

I got one of those and I like it aswell.
However my aperture ring is very very loose, there is almost no resistance at all. Is that normal for this lens? It also glitch a little bit that might be it. Guess it's time to try to repair a lens for the first time .
Hmm I see now that yours doesnt say MC, mine does. Acctually, when looking further I see that they are completly different .
My serial is 2 million+ to yours aswell 9049879. I got this lense with a tokina 135mm and an Auto Chinon 35mm gave 14$ for all of it. Oh and there was a Practika camera with it aswell. _________________ My homepage, all manual shots |

Hallo zewrak!
This button is a basically a good idea, but I miss a spring to hold the iris open for fokus. Then I push the button to close it for taking pictures.
Sadly, the system isn´t well-engineered.
For Pentax K100d - the little aperture stick must be fixed (like the other m42-lenses) and then the close-button will be needless.

Well mine has an M/A switch. So no worries for me.
This is what my version looks like.

I tested the sharpness in the corners, the pentacon works fine, the older domiplan is not good in the corners

Hello! I have a pentacon 5o mm 1,8. It´s a really good lens (good no better, for me). Best F is 5,6 - 8. Inside Materials are so-so, too weak to resist intensive work. The Domiplan have poor corners, it's only has 3 elements, and the tessar (may be better than the pentacon atF 8 and 11) has 4 elements and for this is better in the corners than the domiplan (the cheapest of the series). And over all, the pancolar 50 mm 1,8 (pairs to the planar 50 1,7 kyocera). Good luck with the pentacons. Ah... the pancolar 80 mm 1,8 is.......a really planar or summicron. |
