Hello forum, (first post here)

I got this lens in a very good condition (like new actually) in box. Super clean optics, clean aperture blades, great performance except the focus ring.

The focus ring movement is stiff and I want to relube it.

I searched the net for disassembly guides but couldn't find any for this version of the lens (found for 135 f2.8, 200mm f4 electric etc.).

I removed all the optics and now I am trying to get to the focus thread. This post explains how to remove the part with DOF at different apertures markings but It's definitely different in my case.

I include two photos for reference.

If anyone knows how to get past this step please help me.

I can't get pictures embedded so I put direct links here (use copy paste):

Nevermind - I did it in the end. There was a very tiny little screw that blocked the rotation of one of those threaded circles and i had to buy a precision screwdriver to do it. It's done now, focus is smooth.
