Hi,

quick question: I have a GX1 and would like to use exposure compensation with manual lenses.
Thing is: with AF lenses, pushing the thumb dial lets you adjust exp.comp. but when a manual lens is attached, pushing the detail activates MF zoom.

is there a way to achieve exposure compensation while using manual lenses? I found no way to program one of the Fn buttons with this function

thanks

Are you using A mode?

When using an autofocus lens, pushing the thumb dial switches its mode. For example in A mode, it switches between aperture adjustment and exposure adjustment.

When using a manual lens in A mode there is only one operational mode for the the thumb dial - exposure compensation, so pushing the thumb dial now activates MF zoom instead of switching modes and spinning the dial will adjust exposure.

You can see what operational mode the thumb dial by looking at what's highlighted in yellow at the bottom of the display.
