Other half and HP5

Now the darkroom is up and going my girlfriend wants to try her hand at process and print. I know, that dreaded moment has reared its ugly head!
I am letting her use my old RT body as its the smallest body I have, and have given her a couple of lenses, ans I got her a roll of HP5 which should keep her shutter speeds up.
I haven't used HP5 for quite some time and I need help with a recipe that will give a good neg with nice tonality, that should be easy for her to print from, any ideas?
