Yes, I have some Helioses and I can sell you one, which number would you prefer? |
To be honest with you, I have no idea what number are you referring to.
Instead of taking up more bandwidth here , let's communicate through PM. |

i might be interested in a 35 or 28 lens between the Revuenons, the Pentacon 29 or the Tamron 28 2.5 (with its adapt-all ring)
I'm from Italy too, so i guess we shouldn't have a bunch of problems about shipping
P.S. i also have a Jupiter 21 and a Takumar 135 2.5 that i'm willing to sell (if you're interested). |

Ciao, here's the prices.
To all prices, shipping and Paypal fee will have to be added (since you are from Italy you can also pay with Postepay or Bonifico and avoid Paypal fee)
Pentacon 2.8/29 = 25 Euros
Macro Revuenon 2.8/28 = 40 Euros
Macro Revuenon 2.8/35 = 40 Euros
Tamron 2.5/28, boxed (1 year old, was new old stock- I am first user) = 40 Euros
Tamron Adaptall Ring for M42 (1 year old, was new old stock- I am first user) = 40 Euros
The prices on the Tamron lens and ring are a bit higher than normal used price, but both the lens and ring are practically new and I am asking back only what I spent for them.
Orio
P.S. I have four Jupiter-21
P.P.S: don't let the Revuenon "noname" brand put you off them, they are excellent lenses, great for macros and bokeh.
The real maker is Enna Muenchen and their images really have a German fingerprint to them (very different from Japanese macro lenses). _________________ _

How close to those Revuenon macros go? 1:2? 1:1?
Couldn't find the answer with a quick net search.

This is not real macro lens, not expect macro ratio Erik, it is a good wide angle lens with close-up capability. _________________

Wide "macro" lenses are mostly 1:4 or 1:5, so as Attila said, magnification is not stunning. But in some situations, wide lens with close-up capabilities can be very useful.
For ilustration, here are some close-up shots from my close-focus Vivitar (made by Komine) 28/2.8:

What a pity.
I was hoping for something that rivals the CZJ 35/2.4 (which does 1:2 unless I'm misinformed).

1:1 or 1:2 Macro problem is a fake problem, extension tube exist for M42 that cost only a few euros (I got a set of three for 7 Euros), they fit in your pocket and they give you all the macro you need in a few seconds.
Since you don't take macro snapshots on the fly (macro shots need to be prepared) all this thing about how close a wideangle focuses is not useful. They focus close enough for the occasional closeup.

It's more a question of usability: not having to fiddle with extension rings is definitely a plus at times.
I used to have Minolta 50/2.8 1:1 macro as my walkaround lens, and liked it a lot. My snapshots were not exactly masterpieces, but I had fun with that lens and hope to find something similar. |
