today I have begun shipping your lenses. You will need to have a little patience because I have many packages to make and I am in the full of the working week.

hi,
my Pancolar is of Zebra type and makes sharpest pictures (really!)
For it I ask 60 Euros + shipping + fees if you pay with Paypal (no fees if you pay with bank transfer).
Today I am very busy and I can not make the photos. I will make them tomorrow.

Ok Orio,
no problem.

I can wait.

I saw some pictures of it and I really liked the sharpening.
In my 400D it would be something like 90mm right? It would be good to portraits.

(PS: You are from Italy right?)

Many thanks

It would be equivalent to 80mm and yes, perfect for portraits.
It's really a great lens, I sell it regretfully.
Yes I am from Northern Italy, region of Emilia.

"Gino Bartali was a famous italian bycicle racer of the 40s and 50s. About accumulation of material goods, he always used to repeat, that the last suit we are going to wear, is without pockets"

Franco of Spain made his soldiers wear pants without pockets.

I used to have only one camera body and three fixed fl lenses. My pictures were not as good.

I am behind on taxes, too. My pocket has a hole. I am trying to keep my Planar 100/2, and drink coffee, and eat butter. My neighbor burned his house down for the insurance money. I will sell the many lenses before the few.

Orio DESERVES the best lenses. Franco-Bush-Sarcozy don't.

I kept dreaming of feeling good standing in a green field. Then I came across my grandmother's brother's little picture book about a walk in the park. The grass between two fences was green, and behind the other fence, a village in France. A walk in the park. Coffee. Butter. Planar 100/2 and Zuiko 100/2 ED, too. No heavy winter boots, they are so clumsy for a two week walk in the park. I am keeping the little picture book but I sold his father's tomahawk. He wrote the picture book for the father, who got MD at U Leipzig. Idealogy is motivational, it seems.

Damn it, many thanks for your politicians! Sorry to hear this trouble!

"The grass between two fences was green"

Muddy black and white photo, not "green" in color, but not pocked bare ground as we suppose from seeing movies. "Grass", if the line moved the day before. Hold camera on stick, keep head down, make a picture of a walk in the park to show the folks back home.

Politicians can still make two sides out of it, until we drill down below "breaking up the US for globalization" to "the love of money is the root of all good". Always look at wooden gift horse on wheels in the teeth and down into the throat, to see who is really inside of the old nag. To whom is the 100/2 transferred? For whom do the tumbrels roll? Methinks he doth confess too much, like we're all going through Guantanamo and dropping 100/2?

Coffee, butter, 100/2, and don't buy that auto-focus 50/1.4 unless it's to subject it to comparison of REAL PEOPLE PICTURES taken with old and new lenses. Real people. Do they look garishly contrasty, embarrassingly sharp, genocidally color neutral? Maybe the old sharp was better than disposable globalizing lenses. New lenses may be for corporations, not people.

"Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear. " (George Orwell)

Abstract persons free, real people are their slaves. Milton Friedman's opportunistic Disaster Capitalism(Naomi Klein), Plato as dictator-king, Vanity of the Philosopher by David Levy and Sandra Peart. Not all abstract persons represent all or most people collectively, and hierarchicalists can be hirelings.

If only one lens for ascetic pilgrimage, which? Which, for a bag of coffee? Hint: not a zoom lens so it can be low f and then no batteries.

I was worried that Orio's sites are mostly not there and we are selling lenses instead of comparing them with same subjects. Orio has

http://www.oriofoto.net/temp/presepe2007b/index.html

which shows me that we can compare a class of lenses with "same" subjects, but not identical subjects or photographers or cameras. We have also done that already, just not made classes by one thread here for each. We don't need any lenses for that Wink
