Jes: Since you're on a RF tip, try and get yourself a Rank-Mamiya 4B - it's a great little camera with a selenium meter and 40mm lens.

Then get yourself probably the best fixed lens RF ever made - the Olympus XA. Cool

Thanks Bob. I didn't know about it before!. I was looking for an Olympus 35 RC or RD, in the way I've gotten an underspeeded Canonet, two Konicas (one rangefinder and the other not, somewhat unsealed), and a FED-2 and a Chinon 35EE that I've not yet received...

BTW, no Rank-Mamiyas at eBay by now...
Best regards,
Jes.

I've had my zone focus XA-3 for over twenty years now with no problems, just great pictures.

Here's my XA-3 and Mamiya 4B:

My copy looks like mint, Jes, but it has some slight fungus on the front lens. Just a little bit, not noticeable if you are not a camera expert, but it's there.

Hi Bill, I got this one: Click here to see on Ebay
This one is really a Rangefinder, not like the C35V i got in the past. Anyway the C35V has a nice lens and takes good pictures...
Best regards,
Jes.

I have a Konica auto S2 RF : http://www.wjgibson.ca/KonicaAutoS2.htm (page not by me)

Heven't got used until now, but I think I will have a try ... it has a sharp 45mm lens, from what I've read on the Web...

« One of the most popular fixed lens 35mm Japanese rangefinder is the Canonet series, especially the compact QL17 GIII. The big plus for this camera is its high quality lens and relatively fast f/1.7 40mm lens. The Konica Auto S2 and the Minolta Hi-matic 7S are also often listed as top rangefinders. For its low price ($50-75), I also like the Fuji Lynx-14, which features a really fast f/1.4 lens. »

Hi Flor,
Give it a try. Probably the seals won't be perfect, depending on how long has not been used you would have to replace them, but the Konica's hexanon lenses are very good (to my taste).
About your reference, the Lynx-14 was a Yashica (if I'm not wrong), not a Fuji. I was looking for one of those some ago, because the fast lens, but they seem difficult to find...
At this time I own two Canonets, the original one and the Canonet 28. The roiginal Canonet seems to work but the shutter is painfully slow, so it's waiting for a fix. The 28 is pending to arrive...

Best regards,
Jes.
